It was taken yesterday afternoon by my beautiful wife, just after we had been for a lovely wander along one of our favourite stretches of local coastline.
You see, yesterday was a very special day. It was our Wedding anniversary.
A lot has happened for me, for us, this year so far – as is the case for so many people. Both personally and professionally, there have been successes and failures, things to celebrate, things to take stock of and strive to improve upon.
One of my main developments has been re-embracing my pure love of photography, what it means to me and how I can help others benefit from my years of knowledge and expertise.
Back to the present day… and with camera in hand, shots for my new self-driven photo project (details in a future post) were presenting themselves like you wouldn’t believe!
This picture encapsulates everything that tells me I am on the right path – I saw the opportunity for one last picture just as we were about to head back home… and promptly opened up the car’s sunshine roof (yes, I call it a sunshine roof!) framed-up and bagged it!
I feel so inspired right now – by Mrs. B, by other photographers’ work, by my own personal development. There is a real shift going on 💪🏻
I just can’t help myself – I love photography. I love making pictures. I love my wife :)
