I’ve been aware of Nikwax and their products for many years. Back in my school and college days, I had a Saturday job in a local ski/outdoors shop (no surprises there, then!), where I used to sell the stuff.
Nikwax’s range of waterproofing/cleaning products is ever-expanding. But even way back when, a best seller was always Polar Proof – a wash-in solution used for waterproofing fleece garments.
Skip forward to the present day (well, last month, to be precise), and I received the following message on Twitter:
Long story short, I put together a quick piece for the guys, talking about my experience of using Polar Proof. The idea was that it would hit the Nikwax Blog first, before being linked to from their October newsletter.
Sure enough, the article was duly featured on the blog here (see screen grab below) and then mentioned in both the English and German version of the newsletter.
I shot a bunch of behind-the-scenes pics whilst assembling the illustrative images – and I’ll be running you through the process in a separate (more detailed) post later in the week.
