Video: Easy Jetboil Cooking

Ok, so here’s a quick video for you – something that I’ve been sat on for a while, just waiting to find the time to put together.

When it comes to keeping well fed and watered whilst out on location (for example, when camping, location scouting or day-hiking), it’s always nice to have hot food and drink at the ready.

Of course, you could pack a some sandwiches, a flask and few nibbles. Or – and this is my preference – you could take some kind of stove with you to cook up a warming meal whenever you choose.

These days, my go-to cooker is the Jetboil Sol. It’s compact, lightweight and super-quick at boiling water (somewhere in the region of 1 minute 15 secs for a cuppa’s worth).

You can use it for boil-in-the-bag meals as well as other variations of rapid meals. And with a little poke around on the web, you’ll see some people really are quite adventurous!

So, here’s a basic little serving suggestion for you, based around tasty quick-cook pasta.

Enjoy!
