I’m Officially Up And Running In The Babbin!
Well, it’s been a long time coming due to various delays this year, but I’m finally able to sit and work in peace now that The Babbin main structure is complete!
It’s by no means finished and it’s by no means perfect, but I can at least now say that I have my domestic outdoor workspace up and running.
In truth, it’ll probably be an ongoing project, with alterations happening as my requirements evolve. But for now, I just a few little jobs to do like putting up shelves and installing the wood burner, but basically it’s there.
Then comes lighting and power – but honestly, heating is my priority right now (and this includes insulating the roof with a vapour barrier to prevent condensation, too).
In the fullness of time, I’ve also got a lovely desk to construct out of an old reclaimed wooden door.
All exciting stuff! I’m so inspired… and already noting down fresh ideas for a Babbin-based series of videos coming your way soon.
